HELLO IT’S NOKO JEANS!

… and welcome to our brand new WWW.W. Here at nokojeans.com is where we will tell the full story of Noko Jeans, answer any and all questions about this project and of course, if you like what you see and support us, gives you a chance to buy a pair of the first jeans ever produced in North Korea.

Right now, we are very much in the center of the storm and have very little time. Rest assured, this site and its contents will grow; starting next week, we will try to recount every last detail of these intense, mind-smelting, never not fascinating two and half years of work has resulted in. Everything done in our spare time, we are enormously proud and want to say thank YOU to everyone who has helped and supported it, from diplomats, to shipping experts, to fashion experts to Sir Bob Deng and lots of people in-between.

To everyone else: welcome to Maneuvers In The Dark, the first chapter of Noko Jeans.

  2. gregory says:

I have to wonder why the price for these "blackjeans" can be so expensive? I do like the style and if that question can be legitably answered I will be very interested in purchasing a pair or two

  3. Andrea says:

Pretty unflattering and expensive jeans. Not sure why you are doing this. Surely not to liberate the North Korean worker/ mindset. Pretty naive.

    • 校内观光团 says:

So what does this has to do with politic? This is a website selling N.Korea made jeans. That’s it, and that’s all. Trust me bro, wearing a pair of N.Korea made jeans won’t cause a nuclear attack on ur ballz. lol

  4. Soo says:

I am inspired by your motive to incorporate active participation as a global citizen to your passion for fashion. And most importantly, the fact that you have actuated this goal by founding Noko Jeans is admirable.

  5. dude says:

I dont think it matters where the jeans come from. Although its nice to see this country trying to reach out to the rest of the world. Its only one person who destroys so many lives. I will be purchasing at least one pair. GO USA!

  6. Joakim says:

Why does the person in the video sound retarded? It is very annoying.

  7. Dude says:

Haha – the illiteracy of the voiceover is hilarious – you rock!

  8. Mike says:

You guys must be getting pretty desperate to market your overpriced, ugly jeans to gullible westerners. Maybe you realized that the political prisoners you torture can make you a few bucks sewing jeans before they’re killed off, and your great leader can buy a few extra tins of caviar.

Come to think of it, I can’t understand why free people would want to pay 215 bucks for a lousy pair of jeans to help support a totalitarian regime. Is it because they’re made off the blood and sweat of oppressed people, and satisfy some macabre lust? Is it that they come from a desperately poor country with a fat, wealthy ruler, thereby making them a good joke?

You have the balls to ask us to do business with North Korea after the problems your mean little sociopathic Father and Son team has caused the world…you must be as crazy as the two of them.
Please…pack up your overpriced crappy product and go home.

Nice to see. well wishes to the glory of Peoples Democratic Republic of Korea.
History will prove the koreans right.

  11. Soo says:

people who have bluntly criticized this initiative by referring to Kim Jeong Il as a crazy idiot, claiming that the jeans are overpriced, and assuming that buying noko jeans equates as supporting communism are so ignort and uneducated. there are so many political and social issues that entail this discussion yet you are all ignoring them. basically you are thinking out lound with no evidence or facts to support your argument. furthermore, these jeans are not overpriced. there are so many designer jeans already out in the market that are hundreds and even thousands of dollars. just because you can’t afford these jeans, it doesn’t mean that the jeans are overpriced.

  12. Marcus says:

How is this different from exploiting other developing, Asian countries? They are communist so the people making the jeans won’t see shit!
Exploitation dressed as art or high fashion, it says nothing of what the north Koreans actually know about jeans, why are they good?

    • LaCocca says:

It is true that exploitation of cheap Chinese or Taiwanese work force is no better than the exploitation of cheap North Korean work force – the only problem is that the Noko-guys market themselves as doing a good deed, which they are most definitely not! It is a simple matter of having the jeans produced as cheaply as possible, and thus it makes me sick that these self-righteous douche-bags tries to sell their product as a political act of liberation (or whatever) that comes wrapped in a pair of jeans. Sickening and disgusting, and I truely hope that Noko Jeans will be a massive failure!

  13. bill says:

well maybe a little crack will appear in the dark and people will be lead to rise up against the leadership like they did in eastern europe with the support of the army too or they turned a blind eye.
